NEXUS Center

NEXUS is a spiritual connecting Center in Greenville, SC dedicated to cultivating spiritual awareness.  We present and promote conferences, workshops, and retreats that will appeal to people seeking a deeper connection to the Sacred.

Each year, NEXUS directly participates in two conferences:

In the spring NEXUS partners with the Chaplain’s Office at Furman University to present Engaging Faith – a conference where nationally known speakers talk about spiritual issues affecting our times and challenge us to address deep questions of faith.

In the fall NEXUS collaborates with other organizations to present the NEXUS Connection Event.  This annual conference begins with a meeting where various spiritual organizations have the opportunity to share upcoming events that are open to the public.  We hope to create a master calendar so these organizations can co-promote one another’s offerings, where appropriate.  In addition to this important collaborative meeting, the rest of the conference is open to the community at large with the purpose of connecting people of any or no faith tradition.  The 2009 NEXUS Connection Event is schedule for September 11-12 and is called Music for the Soul.  This conference features Kyle Matthews conducting a workshop about the integration of art and spirituality and a concert where Kyle will be supported by members of area choirs.  For details, please visit the NEXUS website.

NEXUS Center also promotes the workshops, conferences and retreats sponsored by other organizations to ensure that the community at large is aware of the opportunities for spiritual development that are available to them.

The day-to-day operations of NEXUS are managed by Susan Stall, Executive Director.  Any questions about programs may be directed to Susan at (864)430-0637 or  srstall@aol.com  .
